Akame ga Kill! (Japanese: アカメが斬る!, Hepburn: Akame ga Kiru! ) [a] is a Japanese manga series written by Takahiro and illustrated past Tetsuya Tashiro. It was serialized in Square Enix'southward Gangan Joker from March 2010 to December 2016. The story focuses on Tatsumi, a young villager who travels to the Capital letter to heighten money for his dwelling house only to discover strong corruption in the area. In 2007, Takahiro was asked to do a manga for Foursquare Enix magazine. Akame ga Impale! is a manga series written by Takahiro and illustrated by Tetsuya Tashiro. The beginning volume of Akame ga Impale! Nothing also appeared on the list for three weeks, ranking at number 6 for 1 week.[39]

Both the main and prequel manga combined has 3.3 million copies in print as of August 2016.[vii]

Kestrel Swift from The Fandom Post praised the anime's first episode for "harsh, cruel commentary on abuse and how likely it is that the more than perfect someone seems, the darker the secret lurking within" also as its production value by White Pull a fast one on.[forty] Robert Mullarkey from UK Anime Network also gave the series a similar response for its activity scenes and violence displayed.
